Pupils wear the PE Uniform to school on the day they are timetabled for a PE lesson.
Pre-loved items
Pre-loved items are available for sale from the school office. Please contact Mrs Jenkins with any requests of items.
We gladly accept donations of good quality items, please wash and remove names.
Additional Information
All clothing must be clearly labelled with the pupil’s name
No coloured hair or trendy hairstyles are allowed. Any boy or girl with long hair (shoulder length) must have it tied back in either a maroon, white or blue headband.
Jewellery must not be brought to school - except for small stud earrings, which must be removed for PE. Long hair should be tied back with only maroon, black or light blue hair bands
Should an emergency occur during the week and school shoes become badly damaged or worn it may become necessary to wear alternative footwear for a day or two until new shoes are purchased. In such a case a note should be sent to the Headteacher.
Most articles of clothing can be bought from any chain store. The school tie, V necked jumper/cardigan, PE polo shirt, PE tracksuit, book bags (KS1), rucksacks (KS2), must be purchased from the uniform supplier above.
Bags
The only bags that pupils are allowed to bring to school are the school St Aidan's book bag (Rec & KS1) or rucksack (KS2) which can be purchased from Rupens School outfitters.
Lost Property
Naming all items of pupil’s clothing reduces the risk of losing them. Please ensure your child’s clothing is clearly labelled with their name.
All property is the responsibility of the pupil however the teacher will support the children in reminding them at the end of the day and ensuring the safe keeping of coats and bags in the cloakroom area. If items are not labelled it is extremely difficult to return them.
