About Us

A Welcome from our headteacher

Welcome to St Aidan’s,

I am extremely proud to lead a strong Catholic school community who are on a rapid journey of improvement all striving for excellence. I began my teaching career at St Aidan’s as an NQT many years ago and now feel blessed to return to lead the school on its successful pathway.

Our school mission statemeant: ‘Together we enjoy learning, achieving, sharing and praying. Let Jesus’ love shine through in everything we do’ is at the heart of all we do here at St Aidan’s. Every child is provided with the opportunity to shine and achieve. We strive to ensure that every child is happy and safe so they can thrive and enjoy learning. At St Aidan’s our pupils wear their uniform with pride and are excited to come to school each day!

St Aidan’s Catholic Primary Academy is part of the Good Shepherd Catholic Trust, a Multi Academy Trust of 8 Catholic schools in the Diocese of Brentwood. We work collaboratively with the MAT all striving for excellent Catholic education for all our pupils.

The community is stronger than ever and the children are kind, hardworking and positive. The journey of school improvement is equally challenging, rewarding and exciting for everyone concerned.

I am delighted to be part of this process to offer our pupils the best opportunities in life. The Governing Body and I thank you all for your continuous commitment and support on our journey.
