OPAL - Out door play and learning:
We are delighted to have achieved Gold award after just a year on our OPAL journey! We offer a play time that is joyful and inclusive for all. All our children play together with a wide range of play opportunities.

OPAL Assemblies:
We hold whole school OPAL assemblies at least once a half term. The assembly is to celebrate the fantastic play happening at St Aidan's along with reminders of the safe play rules and routines. We also introduce 'what's new' to excite and motivate the children to explore new areas once they are developed.
Our play leaders support with assemblies and bring in new ideas to OPAL.
We offer flexible lunching at St Aidan's where the children have the choice when they eat their lunch and who they dine with! The children are reminded twice throughout the lunch hour and they enjoy the freedom of choice.
